Join the VEGAS Holiday Traditions Contest Now!
Most people have a handful of holiday traditions that they partake in this time of year. This season, we here at VEGAS Creative Software would like to see what holiday tradition means the most to you. Is it going sledding with your family? Cutting down your own Christmas tree? Cooking a special meal? Whatever it is, grab your camera and get filming. This video should be from the heart. We want it to be more than just something you submit to win a prize. Make it something you cherish yourself. Feel free to be as creative as you would like with it.
To participate:
- Share our rules post on Facebook, or retweet on Twitter.
- Collect footage of your favorite holiday tradition.
- Create a video in any version of VEGAS (if you don’t own a version of VEGAS, download a free 30 day trial).

- Email your rendered video file (as an .mp4) and your project file (the .veg or .vf file–no need to send us the media, just the project file) to contest@magix.net no later than January 1, 2019.
From all submitted entries, we will select three winners, taking in account the rules stated above.
Your videos will be judged according to the following criteria: Uniqueness of the video, quality of the video editing, storyline, and creative use of the features.
Prizes
First Prize:
$100 voucher for any VEGAS product.
Second Prize:
$50 voucher for any VEGAS product.
Third Prize:
$25 dollar voucher for any VEGAS product.
Conditions of Participation
Videos:
Each participant may only submit one video. The duration of the video must be between 30 seconds and 3 minutes. The video may only be created with VEGAS.
Videos not using VEGAS will be excluded from the competition.
Submission:
The videos will be submitted per email via contest@magix.net.
By submitting the video, you agree that the organizer may use the video for promotional purposes and to announce the winners on the social media.

Participation is free of charge and not tied to the purchase of goods or services.
There is no entitlement to a prize, legal recourse is excluded. The organizer will decide on the competition at his own discretion. A cash payment, payment in kind or exchange and/or transfer of prizes is not possible.
Employees of the organizer are excluded from participation.
The participant affirms that the submitted works do not violate the rights of third parties or have illegal contents. In particular, works with racist, violence-glorifying, pornographic, and defamatory content are prohibited.
By submitting the work, the participant accepts these conditions of participation.
