VEGAS Pro is tuned to work best on Intel’s Made to Create PCs

Each city is unique and for every person, there are different corners and angles that make it something special. We want to get to know your city, so get out, try to capture the essence of it and show us your city in a short movie. It’s up to you to decide which content you want to showcase and how you want to interpret the beauty of your city. Our only requirement is the integration of the VEGAS features below. Show off your city at its best and inspire us. Together with Intel, we are looking for inspiring video representations of your hometown! Unpack your creativity and take part in the YOUR CITY CONTEST by October 5, 2018!

You can look forward to exclusive prizes worth a total value of over $6,000.00. The winners will be announced on our VEGAS Facebook page on October 19, 2018.

You can participate by simply:

1. Collect video footage of your city
2. Make a video project using VEGAS Pro. If you do not own VEGAS Pro yet, download the trial version.
3. Create a 30-45 second video showcasing your city and the following two features:
   1. Creative use of Media Generators
   2. Color Grading using either Color Correction, Secondary Color Correction, Levels, and/or Color Curves
4. You can earn extra points by using:
   1. Slow motion through Event Velocity envelopes
5. Send us an email with your finished clip by October 5, 2018 via contest@magix.net

From all entries, 5 winners will be selected, taking into account the above requirements, and announced on October 19, 2018.

Your videos will be judged according to the following criteria: Uniqueness of the video, quality of the video editing, storyline and creative use of the features.

• VEGAS Pro Edit ($399.00)

Conditions of participation

Videos:

Each participant may submit only one video. The duration of the video must be between 30 and 45 seconds. The video may only be created with VEGAS Pro.

You must use the Media Generators and Color Grading features in your video. In addition, you can increase your chance to win by using the Slow Motion feature as well. Note: If the Slow Motion feature has not been used, you can still win if the other points have been well converted, it only works to earn extra points!

Videos not using VEGAS Pro will be excluded from the competition.

Submission:

The videos will be submitted per email via contest@magix.net.

By submitting the video, you agree that the organizer may use the video for promotional purposes and to announce the winners on the social media.

Participation is free of charge and not tied to the purchase of goods or services.

There is no entitlement to a prize, legal recourse is excluded. The organizer will decide on the competition at his own discretion. A cash payment, payment in kind or exchange and/or transfer of prizes is not possible.

Employees of the organizer are excluded from participation.

The participant affirms that the submitted works do not violate the rights of third parties or have illegal contents. In particular, works with racist, violence-glorifying, pornographic and defamatory content are prohibited.
